Hosted by the Physicians' Association for Anthroposophic Medicine (PAAM), presented by The Medical Section at the Goetheanum, Switzerland

Working with substance has a special task in the West!
It is important that we work with local plants and minerals to transform the substances.

Due to many requests, we have opened the fifth and final Pharmacy Training with Albert Schmidli to those who have not participated in the first four modules that have taken place 2022-2025.

Albert Schmidli will be joined by guest contributors: Pharmacist Mark McKibben and Dr. Steven Johnson.

This is a chance to gain both a practical hands-on and didactic experience of Anthroposophical pharmaceutical processes, therapeutic substances and applications. It's also a chance to visit Uriel Pharmacy and consider, together, the delicate future of Anthroposophic medicines.

We will explore:

  • the vegetabalized metals
  • topicals
  • syrups
  • manufacturing processes, and
  • the mission of Anthroposophic pharmacy in North America

There will be time for questions and collegial discussion.

As background to discussions, feel free to look at any of the above topics, and perhaps read "Geographic Medicine and the Double" by Rudolf Steiner. This is a rare and unique opportunity to develop a deeper connection to the substances we prescribe. Preference of attendance will be granted to those who have attended the training previously and are completing the five-year course. Early registration is highly recommended. Space is limited to 45 participants.

Lodging and Transportation: Participants are responsible for their own lodging and transportation. Lodging will be in simple hotels, as the area is rural. If you are wanting to share a room, please fill out the ride and room sharing interest form that will be linked in the confirmation email. These are the nearby hotels:
