Join us for the 2026 Physicians' Association for Anthroposophic Medicine Annual General Meeting.

The AGM is an opportunity to gather as a community, reflect on the accomplishments and activities of the past year, hear organizational updates, welcome new Board members, and look ahead to the future of anthroposophic medicine in North America.

All PAAM members are warmly encouraged to attend, ask questions, share insights, and participate in shaping the direction of our organization.

Following the business portion of the meeting, members will also have an opportunity to connect and learn more about new educational and community initiatives available through the AnthroMed platform.

PAAM Clinical Mentoring Program 1:1 2026-2027 (01 Sep 2026)

The PAAM Clinical Mentoring Program pairs licensed healthcare professionals with experienced, Anthroposophic Medicine (AM)-certified physicians for individualized clinical mentoring. Through structured one-on-one conversations, participants deepen their understanding of Anthroposophic Medicine, strengthen clinical decision-making, and receive personalized guidance in applying anthroposophic principles within everyday practice.

Mentoring takes place throughout the academic year (September through May) by phone, Zoom, or in person, as agreed upon by each mentoring pair.

The current program is structured to support participants working toward certification in Anthroposophic Medicine through the Medical Section at the Goetheanum. Together with the required Foundations-level group mentoring credits, two completed years of individual mentoring are designed to fulfill the direct mentoring component of the current certification criteria. Certification applicants remain responsible for meeting and documenting all other requirements.

Program Includes

Ten 90-minute one-on-one mentoring sessions with an AM-certified physician
Two facilitated online group mentoring/case discussion sessions during the academic year
Participation in the AnthroMed Mentoring Community
Mentor matching and ongoing administrative support
Guidance toward the Medical Section's mentoring requirements for certification
Access to Learner+ reflective practice resources for eligible participants

Prerequisites
Applicants must:

Be a licensed MD, DO, PA, NP, ND, or PharmD actively engaged in clinical practice.
Be able to incorporate anthroposophic medicines and/or therapies into patient care within their professional scope of practice.
Have completed the online Foundations in Anthroposophic Medicine course or an equivalent in-person anthroposophic medicine educational program.
Be committed to continued learning and professional development in anthroposophic medicine.

If you are exploring the Clinical Mentoring Program and have not yet applied, please review the program information and complete the CMP Interest and Application Form. Applications for the 2026–27 mentoring year are accepted through August 15, 2026. Submitting an application does not constitute registration or guarantee placement with a mentor.

Registration and Enrollment
This registration page is for applicants who have been accepted into the Clinical Mentoring Program, matched with a mentor, and invited by PAAM to enroll.

After returning the signed mentee agreement, participants receive the registration code for this page. Enrollment is confirmed once registration is complete and the payment requirements below have been met. PAAM will then notify the mentee and mentor that mentoring may begin.

Mentoring Year
The regular mentoring year runs September 1 through June 30. Participants complete ten 90-minute sessions during this period and submit their verified annual mentoring log to PAAM by July 1.

Tuition and Payment
Annual tuition is $1,400 and is ordinarily due in full before mentoring begins. Participants needing financial accommodation may request a payment plan of up to six months. Approved payment plans include a one-time $75 setup fee. Under an approved plan, the payment requirement is met once the plan is established and the first installment is received.

Withdrawal and Mentoring Relationship Support
Participants may withdraw from the program and receive a tuition refund, less a $150 withdrawal fee, provided that PAAM receives the withdrawal request in writing within two weeks of the participant’s first mentoring session. PAAM may confirm the session date with the mentor when processing the request.

After that period, tuition is nonrefundable. If the mentoring relationship is not a good fit, PAAM will work with the participant and mentor to determine an appropriate path forward. Options may include pausing mentoring for up to one year, arranging a different mentor when available, or withdrawing from the program. Any credit toward another PAAM offering will be considered individually.

Join us for learning, renewal, collegial connection, and the newly reimagined 2026 Physicians’ Fall Retreat.

This 3½-day immersive retreat will explore a living, holistic approach to patient observation and physical examination through the Tria Principia—a threefold understanding of the body and the fundamental processes of nature.

Through nature observation, clinical case study, artistic activity, movement, small-group work, peer learning, and physical-examination practice, participants will deepen their ability to perceive relationships among structure, function, constitution, illness, and healing.

A threefold study of skeletal morphology will support participants in cultivating renewed organs of perception for medical practice and developing clinical insights into individual constitutions, disease processes, and therapeutic interventions.

This retreat is designed for physicians seeking to:

Deepen clinical insight through renewed observational capacities
Integrate spiritual-scientific principles into everyday medical practice
Rediscover the diagnostic power of the physical examination
Nourish the inner life that sustains meaningful medical work

The retreat also serves as the opening in-person experience within PAAM’s evolving three-year education and professional development pathway, while remaining valuable as a standalone retreat.

Reflective Practice and CME/CE

PAAM is excited to offer access to Learner+, a clinician-centric platform that rewards CME/CE credits for Reflective Practice.

Participants who choose to use Learner+ may reflect on their learning throughout the retreat through the certified activity Reflective Practice.

Attendees can use Learner+ to reflect on what they are learning during the retreat—anytime and anywhere learning happens.

CME/CE credit is available only through Learner+ for the certified activity Reflective Practice, jointly provided by CME Outfitters. Credit is not tied to this event or PAAM content but to the learner’s reflection within Learner+.

Lodging and meals

Lodging and meals are reserved separately through Mount Madonna Center.

Participants may choose from private and shared rooms in the main building, as well as cottages, cabins, and yurts. The residential setting creates space for rest, collegial connection, reflection, and deeper engagement with the retreat experience beyond the formal sessions.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation requests received in writing by September 1, 2026, are eligible for a full refund, less a $150 withdrawal fee.

Cancellations received from September 2 through October 1, 2026, are eligible for a 50% refund.

After October 1, 2026, registration fees are nonrefundable. A registration may be transferred to an eligible colleague for a $150 transfer fee.

Email cancellations must be acknowledged by PAAM before they are considered received. Telephone cancellations cannot be accepted.
